A family-run building company with 40+ years on the tools
We build homes the way we’d want our own built: carefully, tidily and with nothing hidden.
Southampton born, Hampshire built
Gary has been on the tools for 40 years. He started out as a groundworker and bricklayer, and in 1986 began taking on small jobs of his own. Word spread, one recommendation led to the next, and the work grew into extensions, renovations and new builds.
His son Craig trained as a bricklayer after leaving school and worked alongside his dad, and in 2017 father and son founded Maidanbuild Homes together. Craig has now been on the tools for 20 years, so between them they bring 60 years of hands-on experience to every job.
We’re still a family business. When you call, you speak to the people running your job. The team who quote your project are the team who build it.
As well as homes, we take on hotel and commercial work. Our team has worked on renovations at Lime Wood, THE PIG and The Duke on the Test. See our hotel and commercial work.
